The intention of my project was to provide a remedy for the crisis of city-centre space which affects today’s metropolises. A city is a living entity which determines its functions according to the current needs of its residents. I wanted to create a tool to stem the ongoing flight of current cultural function from our city centres. At the same time, I tried not to make my project yet another artificially generated element on the map of Warsaw. I believe that as a designer I am supposed to support existing cultural institutions.
