Concept for the Development and Modernisation of the Interior of the DeSki Sports Club on Cypel Czerniakowski.
The aim of the project was to create a recreational space blended into the landscape of the Cypel Czerniakowski lagoon, which, like in the old days, should once again become a place for active recreation or simply hanging out for residents of Warsaw. In the interwar and post-war period the headquarters of numerous sports associations were located there – it was an important part of the cultural map of the capital city. Open-air dances were organised there, water sports were very popular, and beaches with modern infrastructure attracted crowds. My project refers to these traditions and is an attempt to draw attention to the benefits resulting from the close proximity of the Vistula river.
