Warsaw Alive is a short series of documentaries that share a common protagonist: Warsaw. I looked for exceptional characters, who with their work and passion create the atmosphere of the city. I discovered people and contexts that are not ordinarily discussed, but it is thanks to them that Warsaw, despite the many flaws attributed to it, is such a special place.
The project consists of the first season of a series, cemented together by a structure typical of a series, including credits, a voice over and a teaser for the following episode. Each of the short films has its own graphic symbol, occurring both in an animation and as hand-grooved matrices imprinted on posters, which constitute the second part of the degree piece.
I implemented the project Warsaw Alive together with my friend, director Kuba Gryżewski and music producer Kamil Kraszewski (Ment XXL).
